Adult division curriculum
Royal Academy of Dance – a worldwide educational organization.
This organization offers an internationally-recognized portfolio of classical dance examinations that meets the highest standards and is responsible for the ongoing professional development of the teachers who are members of this non-profit organization.
In addition, the students’ progress in modern and contemporary dance classes and start with studying the history of dance. The girls learn point work, and the boys receive a separate class in the male technique.

ADVANCED FOUNDATION
This is a continuation stage for students who have completed the intermediate grade and are 15-16 years old. This intermediate grade prepares for the next grades of professional dance training. The syllabus consists of twelve classes. Four 90-minute classical ballet classes; a 60-minute classical repertoire class; a 60-minute point class; two 90-minute modern classes; a 75-minute repertoire class of the Kamea Dance Company; a 90-minute jazz class; a 60-minute Pilates class; and a 75-minute dance history class. Usually each grade requires one year of studies.

INTERMEDIATE
Students aged 13-14 are admitted, who have completed the Intermediate Foundation grade. The program consists of nine classes - three classical ballet classes of 90 minutes each, two modern ballet classes of 75 + 90 minutes each, a 75-minute jazz class, a 75-minute repertoire class of the Kamea Dance Company, a 60-minute Pilate class, and a 60-minute dance history class. This is a basic and very important level for gaining a deep and thorough understanding of the principles of the classical ballet technique. A passing grade in an examination is a prerequisite for teaching studies according to the RAD method. This is why the School places utmost importance in encouraging adult grade students to take an exam at this level. This exam is also a prerequisite for the next level examination according to the RAD method. It usually takes a year to complete this level.

INTERMEDIATE FOUNDATION
Students who completed the junior grade classes, who are aged 11-12-13 and/or students who started at an older age and fit in with the class after one year of supplemental learning, are admitted to the Intermediate Foundation. The syllabus consists of six classes: three classical ballet classes of 75 minutes each (a stage when the girls begin to learn point work), a 75-minute modern dance class, a 75-minute jazz lesson and a 60-minute Pilates class. This grade usually takes two years to complete.

ADVANCED I
This is a continuation stage for students who have completed Intermediate or Advanced Foundation, and this is the first grade in professional dance training, and it is intended for students aged 16-17. The syllabus consists of thirteen classes. Five 90-minute classical ballet classes; a 60-minute classical repertoire class; a 60-minute point class; two 90-minute modern ballet classes that integrate different styles; a 75-minute repertoire class of the Kamea Dance Company; a 75-minute modern dance workshop; a 90-minute jazz class; a 60-minute Pilates class; a 75-minute dance history class; a 60-minute excellence class for selected students. Boys receive an extra class separately. It usually takes two years to complete this grade.

ADVANCE II
This is a continuation stage for students who have completed Advanced 1 and are 17-18 years old. This is the last grade in professional dance training. The syllabus consists of fourteen classes. Five 90-minute classical ballet classes; a 60-minute classical repertoire class; a 60-minute point class; two 90-minute modern ballet classes that integrate different styles; a 75-minute repertoire class of the Kamea Dance Company; a 75-minute modern dance workshop; a 90-minute jazz class; a 60-minute Pilates class; a 75-minute dance history class; a 60-minute excellence class for selected students. Boys receive an extra class separately. It usually takes one year to complete this grade. A 60-minute excellence class for selected students. Students who complete this level have completed their professional training as dancers and are admitted as trainees or dancers in various dance companies in Israel and abroad.
